The Fun-est Toy Store Ever! is owned and operated by Melissa Palermo-Spero. It was opened on April 1, 2006 on the Ephrata Square in a 1200 sq.ft. space (next to Edward Jones). The Fun-est Toy Store Ever! is the largest independent, specialty toy store in Lancaster County PA. We specialize in toys you just can't find anywhere else!
In August of 2008, we purchased The Sprecher Building at 24 E. Main St. Ephrata. This landmark building built in 1912 was the home of Sprecher Hardware Store until they closed in 2000. With the help of family and friends, the building was brought back to its former glory. The original hardwood floors were uncovered from where they hid under 3 layers of linoleum. Then after sanding, hand staining (that was a VERY long project), and sealing they allow kids of all ages to zoom around on Plasma Cars and Flying Tutles!
Anyone who grew up in Ephrata, PA remembers riding the famous elevator to the 2nd floor. While the upper floors are empty, Melissa & the staff take great pride in caring for this landmark. It is state inspected every 6 months and used occassionaly to move inventory to and from the basement. With the pressed tin ceilings, bright red walls, and wood floors, The Fun-est Toy Store Ever! looks like no other store around. Come by and check it out for yourself!
